– Wednesdays, 8:30-10:00am, Alignment & Posture / All Levels
Alignment and posture classes for all levels gives you time to explore and learn how to skillfully align your body-mind & consciousness from the inside out. Classes will break down individual poses, provide fluid transitions and give appropriate modifications. This class is recommended for all students at the appropriate level. Props are utilized. Let your regular yoga practice calm agitation and discomfort in the mind and create the right conditions for the spontaneous arising of joy.

Gentle Yoga Essentials with Embodyoga ® Instructor Anna Witt. Anna specializes in Embodyoga ® – an inclusive approach to the deeply healing, therapeutic, and spiritual essence of yoga, woven into the cutting edge studies in the field of body-mind and consciousness. This is a class for beginners or for those who want a skilled foundation in yoga through healthy bio-mechanical alignment & breath practice. Emphasis is on developing strength, resiliency and stamina of the physical body through a respectful and intelligent flowing practice that slowly builds to a pinnacle pose.AnnaLogo

Providing insight in our true nature, we begin to notice we are alive and awake at every level of our being. Through inquiry and direct experience we bring awareness to all the body systems, tissues and cells perceiving tangible support and alignment and healing from the inside out. A gentle, mindful, embodied yoga practice facilitates healing, relieves symptoms of stress, injury or chronic pain. Anna Witt, RMT, E-RYT-500, is a passionate Embodyoga ® teacher. She has a BFA in Dance and is a Registered Somatic Movement Therapist dedicated to awaken human potential for deliberate living, known for her inspirational teaching style and her innovative methods for bridging the gap between ancient yoga wisdom and the cutting edge of body-mind & consciousness. Anna also offers Private Yoga Sessions as Yoga Therapy, to Deepen One’s Personal Practice, as Adaptive Yoga to meet specific Physical Challenges, for Privates Parties and Celebrations.
