Health-Preserving Qigong with Dr. WANG
A new series will be starting February 6th. These classes will be weekly on every Wednesday from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm.
Qigong classes will start right after Chinese new year! It’s the year of the earth pig, which brings bounty good luck and good health.
There will be two weekly classes*
- One class will begin on 2/6/19 Wednesdays from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm, and will continue until our summer break (at least 20 classes).
- Another class will be held on (MOST) Sundays (please check the calendar!) from 10:30 to 11:30am, and will continue until our summer break (except the Sundays when I am on call and working).
Classes will focus on the following qigong practices and each class is different:
Enhanced warm ups
Da Mo arm swing
Da Mo body Tapping
The Five animals Qigong
The Eight Brocades Qigong
The Da Wu (Grand Dance) Qigong
The Twelve Forms Qigong
The Six Healing Sounds Qigong
The Relaxation Qigong
The Qigong meditations
Goal: Enhanced cardiac and pulmonary functions, steadier gait, stronger muscle tones, better digestive function, stronger bones, increased flexibility, enhanced peripheral circulation, and happiness. The classes are suitable for beginners and people with previous Qigong experiences.
No age or ability limitations.
*IMPORTANT: If you are NEW to the classes, please come 15 minutes earlier if you can on Wednesdays and on Sundays. I would be very happy to be there earlier to teach a few basics before the classes.

*NOTE: Classes are held at 538 Maple Ave (Route 9), Saratoga Health & Wellness Bldg, across from the Maple Ave Middle School, just off Route 50. Enter at the rear.
