A Buddhist Primer w/ Pierre Zimmerman
This workshop will cover basic concepts about Buddhist philosophy and psychology for lay people. Exploration into the four noble truths, the ethical basis as the underlying principle of causing no harm, the notion of dependent arising, the three marks of existence, the eight perfections, and the concept of self.
Handouts, resources, and interactive discussions as well as short meditations will be offered. This is open to beginners as well as seasoned practitioners.
Fee: $30 per person
