Centered Families w/ Rachel Alderman, LCSW & Kim Kaiser

A monthly workshop for families with children 7-12, focused on enriching the experience of family life. Based on centering techniques and traditions from around the world, family members will interact together in joyful activities that engage the senses, support relaxation and enhance resiliency in negotiating life’s obstacles.

Brief BIO: Rachel is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 15 years experience. After receiving a Masters in Social Work from Boston College, Rachel has learned from the many youth she has met who have struggled with acute trauma, significant mental health and behavioral needs via positions in child welfare, educational and psychiatric settings. Her eclectic practice borrows from Cognitive Behavioral and Strength Based approaches and the traditions of Mindfulness to develop a treatment approach that best fits the needs of each client.
