Mindfulness is a practice of non-judgemental awareness of moment-to-moment experiences and paying attention with curiosity. For people with cancer and other illnesses, being aware of one’s internal landcape creates:

  • States of mind that change brain function
  • Reduction of anxiety, instrusive thoughts and rumination
  • Reduction in fatigue and improvement of emotional self-regulation
  • Strenghtening of immune functions
  • New habits for a better quality of life
