Saying Yes to No Self w/ Matt Ostrow, PhD
In this workshop we will explore the central Buddhist concept of “no self” or egolessness. This idea is notoriously difficult to understand, at least at first exposure. Is Buddhism somehow denying the existence of consciousness? We will try to show how that is not the case—how the notion of egolessness, while profound, is not mysterious, and is also very practical in its implication. Our approach will be broad and undogmatic, with lots of room for discussion.
