Taiji (Tai Chi) with Renjie Song
Class: Learning Yang Style Tai Chi 48 Form & Chen Style Tai Chi 18 Essential Form
Time and Location: Every Tuesday 7:00-8:00 pm. At One Big Roof, Center for Mindful Practices, 538 Maple Ave – Saratoga Springs, NY, in the Saratoga Health & Wellness Bldg.
Class Description: For both beginner and intermediate level. In this class, you will learn the basic Yang and Chen Style Tai Chi postures, movements and internal energy development. These Tai Chi practices have many benefits for health and well-being including improved flexibility, stress reduction and balance.
Instructor: Renjie Song has studied Chen Style Tai Chi with Grand Master Chen Zhenglei (陳正雷) and Master Wang Haijun (王海军), including the18 Essential Form, Old Frame First Routine, Old Frame Second Routine, Single Sword Form and Push Hands. In 2011, he received a Certificate for Advanced Chen Style Taiji Training in Los Angeles from Grand Master Chen Zhenglei. In addition to Chen style Tai Chi, Renjie practices Yang and Wu/Hao Style Tai Chi. He also practices Tai Chi push hands.
Class Fee: $15 per class. Drop-ins are welcome!
