Terry Keenan practices the holistic treatment of patients with the complementary use of Chinese Medicine. This holistic approach integrates body, mind and spirit using acupuncture, eastern nutrition, Chinese herbs, Chinese medical aromatherapy, stone therapy, Chinese bodywork known as Tui Na, and movement such as Qi Gong or Yoga. All of these treatments can be performed safely in the context of patients’ existing biomedical care to address both their current symptoms and some of the underlying causes of their health problems. In some cases, this complementary approach even helps patients cope with side effects of biomedical treatments, such as chemotherapy and radiation.
Terry provides wellness and preventive care to patients who want to maintain good health. She also works with patients who have a history of chronic illness or emotional imbalances and want to combine Eastern and Western treatments. Terry is dedicated to helping each of her patients achieve optimum health, healing and quality of life.
